it starts in the classroom
OUR KIDS PROGRAM SERVICES ARE FUN!
Through statewide system of partners, YES! Kids provides teachers with endless classroom resources. Our partners specialize in keeping material hands-on and interesting, while also correlating with curriculum standards!
YES! Kids focuses on in-classroom projects that teachers may access through online support. We have partnered with several specialists in each focus area that can help teachers get ideas for their individual classroom, or ideas for a schoolwide campaign.
We are dedicated to tailoring a program to fit your specific school. After all, there is no such thing as a cookie-cutter child. Whether your program is geared towards science classrooms, after-school programs, or extracurricular activities, we are the one-stop-shop to finding a specialist for you.
One of the many things that make us different is our ability to connect you directly with a specialist. We understand that your time is valuable, so we strive to get your program up and going as soon as possible. We have already done the searching for you, so instead of looking for the correct contact for an agency, head over to our focus area breakdown and find your interest area!
Many of our specialists already have sample classroom activities that coincide with current education standards. This allows you to find fun and engaging ways to involve your students while also increasing interest in environmental science.
Of course, this is also designed to make it easy to include everyday environmental practices into everyday life without adding the stress of an increased workload. Our goal is to enhance statewide environmental education literacy, without putting extra work on your plate.
If your school would like to have a campus-wide campaign, we have several activities that can reduce the overall school footprint. From recycling in the cafeteria, cutting down energy costs, and planting butterfly gardens, we can tailor a program to your needs.
